     Single Day Room Design

Room redesign is a process of using existing furniture, art and personal items already in the home to create a new space from old. There is no need to purchase additional items unless the client wishes. Madeline Hollins makes an initial visit to the home to view the space(s) to be redesigned. She will ask a series of questions about the space to determine usage and items to be reused. At this time, Madeline will also go through the clients home in search of articles to use in the final room design.

The room design process consists of reusing, re hanging and re accessorizing with your own possessions, to create a new space that reflects the clients own personality and bring balance and warmth to the room.

     Shopping Services
Shopping services are offered at $75/hr. After a room redesign, there might be some final items that may complete the design. For the clients' convenience, the designer can put together a selection of items to complete the space. Time spent putting the project together/office time/showroom time is also included.

The designer will shop with the client or alone, as needed. Digital pictures can be taken of necessary and fabric swatches chosen to achieve the final design.

     Staging for Real Estate Sales
Statistics show, homes staged by a designer for resale sell much faster and for the best price. Using a checklist noting all areas of the home gives the homeowner ideas and specific suggestions to enhance the good points and target areas to improve to maximize your home's value.

     Presentations & Seminars
Special presentations to groups are available. Presentations will be geared to the homeowner, the real estate broker, or to civic groups. Room redesign, how-to accessorize, art placement and color presentations will be offered.
